BACKGROUND

Traditional Oriental Medicine Training

Simon Rowe originally trained in Zen Shiatsu at the European Shiatsu School headquarters, for 3 years gaining his Diploma in Shiatsu in 2002. Further training in Chinese Medical Massage,known as Tuina, was completed with the Shulan College of Chinese Medicine.

Training was also undertaken in Chinese Acupuncture with the Academy of Oriental Medicine, gaining his Diploma in Chinese Acupuncture under Dr John Brazier.

A certificated course was completed in Chinese Herbal Patent Medicine at the Shizhen College of TCM with Professor Shulan Tang.

To supplement his Acupuncture training, Simon specialised inJapanese Acupuncture, he completed a Foundation Course in Kiiko Matsumoto Acupuncture, London in 2006 and finished anothers years training at the European Branch of the Toyohari Medical Acupuncture Association, in Amsterdam 2007, under Dr Stephen Birch.

He has also completed and hosted the first UK Master Tung Beginning and Advanced Series workshops in the traditional Tung Acupuncture system by Susan Johnson Lic.Ac. A unique quick and efficient 700 year old Chinese family lineage style.

Simon is also a member of the Zita West National Fertility Network for Reproductive Health and the Acupuncture Fertility Network attending further CPD trainings in fertility and IVF assistance.

He has continued his trainings with a post grad Advanced level diploma in Fertility Acupuncture with Naava Carman in 2020 with further CPD courses in IASTM (Gua Sha) and advanced trainings in Osteopathic Spinal Manipulation.



He is also Member of The Acupuncture Society (MAcS) for Cupping, Acupuncture, Tuina and Acupuncture for the British Register of Complementary Practitioners ( Oriental Medicine Division).
